Using multiple license plate numbers or accounts in the Aimo application

If you have more than one vehicle, you can add them all to your Aimo app account.


The account can be used to start two parkings at a time. If you have a separate parking benefit, the benefit is only available for parking that started first with your account.


In cases where a family uses more than one vehicle at the same time, we recommend creating a separate accounts for each driver of the vehicle. In this case, everyone can manage their own parking with the app.

The license plate number of the same vehicle can be added to the account of each person using the vehicle in the Aimo application, and each user can manage the license plate camera recognition function as each person drives the vehicle in question.

Please note that the camera recognition function can only be enabled for one account at a time in the same license plate. When another family member turns on camera recognition, it turns off for the account it was previously active with. The user will receive an email notification when camera recognition is turned off and set to active for another account.


If one of the vehicle's users wishes to park using a separate Aimo Park season pass, or has a separately agreed parking arrangement at the location in question, camera recognition must be turned off from the Aimo application's account. Camera recognition settings can be edited in the "Account" -window of the application, in the "My vehicles" -tab.


If you have a long-term permit that renews every 30 days with the application and you have several vehicles, 

you must always set the license plate number of the vehicle you are parking with as active for the parking permit.

The license plate number must be changed to the parking permit in the "Services" -window of the application by pressing the parking permit.

When parking with a 30-day parking permit, the license plate number does not need to have the camera recognition function turned on. 

Please note that updating the license plate number in the "Account" -window of the application in the "My Vehicles" tab does not affect the parking permit.
